Acid light yellow G CAS 6359-82-6 also named acid yellow 11 is a kind of yellow powder acid dyes and easily soluble in water.

After adding 10% sulfuric acid or sodium hydroxide to the aqueous solution, and the color will not change.

It is easily soluble in acetone, ethylene glycol and ether. Acid light yellow G is slightly soluble in chemicalbook benzene and insoluble in other organic solvents.

Acid light yellow G is mainly used for dyeing and direct printing of wool, silk and their fabrics with good discharge and levelness.

It is usually dyed in acetic acid dyeing bath, and can also be used to match and dye beige, camel, gray and other light to medium colors. It can also be used for dyeing nylon. Acid light yellow G can also be used for coloring paper, leather, paint, medicine and cosmetics, and can also be used to make color lake pigments.
