Auramine O CONC CI basic yellow 2 is a kind of yellow color basic yellow dyes, which has yellow uniform powder and very easily soluble in water.

[Properties] It’s a kind of uniform powder and become yellow after soluble in cold water, bright yellow after fusion with hot water, and yellow after dissolution in ethanol.

It can be decomposed into tetramethyl benzophenone. When the solution temperature exceeds 70 ℃, it is colorless when added into the aqueous solution and pale yellow after dilution.
