Basic dyes paper dyes manufacturer

Basic dyes are a type of dyes that can directly dissociate to form cations or form salts with acids in aqueous solution. They are generally organic compounds with amino basic groups. Basic dyes are soluble in water and have strong tinting power, easy to color fibers, and are bright in color. They are most widely used in the paper industry, but they have extremely poor light resistance and heat resistance, and are resistant to acids, alkalis, and chloride ions. The strength is weak, so the finished product is easy to fade.

Basic dyes have a strong affinity for natural color pulp and groundwood pulp, and good dyeing effect can be achieved without adding glue and alum.

The affinity for bleaching is very weak, and a mordant must be added.

The temperature during use should not exceed 70°C, otherwise insoluble lakes will easily form and stains will appear in the paper. The pH value of dyeing is generally 4.5~6.5.

When used in the mixed pulp of bleached pulp and groundwood pulp, special care must be taken to prevent uneven dyeing. The bleached pulp should be dyed first, and the groundwood pulp should be added after coloring. Another method is to add gum and alum in the mixed slurry before adding dye.

Basic dyes are used to dye pulp by combining with fibers in a precipitation method, and their color is generally brighter than the hue of the dye itself.

Basic dyes can be divided into azo, diphenylmethane, triphenylmethane, thiazine, etc. Representative varieties are basic magenta dye, basic auramine yellow O, basic blue 7, basic orange, basic brown, rhodamine b dye etc. .
