Direct Black G CI Direct black 19, is also named Direct Fast Black; Direct Fast Black L-3BG, CAS No. 6428-31-5, it’s one kind of black direct dyes.

The molecular formula is C34H29N13O7S2, it is mainly used for dyeing black clothes, and the printing is generally gray and black.

It can also be combined with brown dyes to form various colors of coffee with different depths. A small amount is used for color toning to increase the color spectrum.

2. Solubility: good water solubility, its aqueous solution is greenish black, and 10% sulfuric acid is added, and the color is slightly red; when concentrated lye is added, it turns greenish blue. Slightly soluble in ethanol and acetone.

The main purpose
Direct Fast Black G is one of the main black dyes. It is mainly used for dyeing and direct printing of cotton, viscose fiber, cotton, viscose fiber and silk, wool interwoven and blended fabrics. It is mainly dyed in black color, while the printing is generally in gray and black. When dyeing wool and viscose fiber blended fabric, it can be dyed in the same bath with neutral black BRL for uniform color. It can also dye polyester and viscose blended fabrics in the same bath with disperse dyes. The dye uptake rate is good, and the dye migration is slightly poor. After dyeing, it can be treated with fixing agent Y and fixing agent M, but the color is slightly green. Finishing with urea-formaldehyde resin does not change the shade and can also improve the wet processing fastness.
