Nigrosine black series is divided into Nigrosine black dyestuff: Nigrosine black 5/Nigrosine black 7/Nigrosine acid black.
Alcohol soluble nigrosine black, abbreviated as alcohol black, international index number is solvent Black 5.
It has black uniform powder and insoluble in water, soluble in ethanol (blue light black), benzene and toluene, easily soluble in oleic acid and stearic acid.
Solvent black 5 has good acid resistance and sun resistance. Melting point is 275 ℃, mainly used for coloring rubber, insulating bakelite, carbon paper and leather shoe oil.
Oil soluble aniline black solvent dyes, referred to as nigrosine oil soluble, international index number: solvent Black 7, black uniform powder, widely used in dyeing and printing of cotton fabrics.
When dyeing, the cotton fabric is first immersed in a solution made of aniline salt, and then oxidized to black.
Dyestuffs are resistant to sunlight and rain, and are firm to hot soap solution and dilute bleaching powder solution. It is blue black when oxidized too much.
Nigrosine acid black, international index number: Acid Black 2. It has black flashing granular and soluble in water, the aqueous solution is blue purple, and the addition of sodium hydroxide solution produces brownish purple precipitation. Soluble in ethanol and blue. It also appears blue in concentrated sulfuric acid, turns purple after dilution, and precipitates.
Usage 1: It is mainly used for dyeing wool and silk, as well as leather dyeing (usually chrome mordant dyeing), as well as the coloring of paper, wood products, soap and anodized aluminum and the manufacture of ink.
Usage 2: Acid black 2 is mainly used for dyeing leather, silk and wool. It can also be made into a lake for color paper and printing.
