[Dissolution]
Insoluble in water, slightly soluble in ethanol, easily soluble in grease, mineral oil, acetone and benzene. The ethanol solution is purplish red, magenta in concentrated sulfuric acid, and orange precipitate after dilution.
[Purpose]
Solvent dyes yellow 14 is sed for coloring furniture paint, shoe polish, floor wax, automobile wax and grease. In addition, it is also used for coloring fireworks and candles.
[Others]
The maximum absorption wavelength is 416 (478) nm. It has bright color and strong acid and alkali resistance.
