The cationic dyes used for dyeing the surface layer are mainly brown and yellow.

Most paper mills only need to use one kind of brown. To meet the dyeing requirements, some paper mills can use yellow dyes to adjust the b* value.

If the L* value is too high during cationic system dyeing, black dyes can be used for adjustment.
