1. Preparation work

-Dye Preparation: Sulphur black dye usually exists in crystal form and needs to be dissolved in advance.

-Preparation of dye solution: Mix Sulphur black dye with an appropriate amount of water and heat until the dye is completely dissolved.

- Additive addition : Add sodium sulfide (reducing agent) and alkali (such as sodium hydroxide) as needed to promote dye reduction and dye uptake.

2. Dyeing process

-Pre treatment: Soak the dye in water to ensure that the fibers are fully wetted.

-Dyeing: Place the pre treated fabric into a dye solution, heat it to the desired temperature (usually 60-90 ° C), and maintain it for a certain period of time (about 30-60 minutes) to ensure that the dye is evenly applied.

-Mixing: Proper mixing is necessary during the dyeing process to prevent uneven dyeing.

3. Post processing

-Oxidation: After dyeing is completed, the fabric is taken out and exposed to air for oxidation, allowing the dye to adhere to the fibers.

- Water washing: Rinse the fabric with clean water to remove uncured dyes and additives.

-Soap washing: Wash with soapy water to further remove floating colors and improve color fastness.

-Drying: Finally, air dry or dry the fabric.

Precautions

- Safety protection : Sulphur black dye and additives may be irritating, gloves and masks should be worn during operation.

-Wastewater treatment: Dyeing wastewater contains chemicals and needs to be treated before discharge to avoid environmental pollution.

-Color fastness: After dyeing, color fastness should be tested to ensure compliance with requirements.
