Rhodamine B (Solvent Red 49) is a non azo pigment, which includes guton, triarylmethane and anthraquinone.
Xanthene dyes, also known as oxaanthracene dyes, are dyes with xanthene rings.
They are the acid eosin first discovered by H. Coro in 1874. These dyes are similar to diphenylmethane and triphenylmethane derivatives.
Solvent Red 49 is mainly used for industrial dyeing and is fat soluble. Rhodamine B (Solvent Red 49) has strong fluorescence in solution.
It is used as a fluorescent dye for cells in laboratories, colored glass, special fireworks and other industries. Solvent red 49 has also been used as a colorant for condiments (mainly chili powder and chili oil) and as a food additive. However, experiments later proved that rhodamine B (Solvent Red 49) can cause cancer, and it is no longer allowed to be used for food dyeing.
Our factory is producing rhodamine b dye for 27 years, including basic rhodamine b, acid rhodamine b, rhodamine base solvent red 49 and so on.
