Solvent Dyes Usage Instructions

1.The dissolving procedures of powder dyes in different solvents are different, and the dissolving process is affected by temperature, resin properties, solvent moisture content, etc. Before use, please carry out tests according to their process requirements to understand their solubility in this solvent.

2. When dissolving, accurately weigh the required toner, add it into the dissolving container in batches, stir it for several minutes after adding, and let it stand for 1-2 hours, then stir it again, and let it settle. Extract the available dyes and discard the remaining useless impurities.

3. After solvent powder dye is dissolved, a small amount of substances will be separated out after long-term storage. When taking it, filter it with a 300-400 mesh filter screen to prevent the precipitates from entering the next process.

4. Pay attention to select the best solvent and dissolution method when using, otherwise it will cause the phenomena of more precipitable substances of liquid dyes, low dye content and different dyeing depths.

5. Recommended solvents: butanone, methyl isobutyl ketone, cyclohexanone, ethylene glycol butyl ether, ethyl acetate, methanol, toluene and other mixed solvents.
