Properties and uses of sulfur black 200%:

Sulfur black 200% is bright black flake and granular appearance. It’s insoluble in water and ethanol, soluble in alkali sulfide solution with blueish and reddish shade.

When adding caustic soda into the sulphur black solution, the color will be blue; when adding hydrochloric acid, it will be green black precipitate.

It is slightly soluble in cold concentrated sulfuric acid, turns green and blue when heated, and turns black and blue after reheating.

The dye uptake and level dyeing rate are better.

Sulphur black 200% is mainly used for dyeing cotton, hemp, viscose fibers and their fabrics.
