Mark ink dyes mainly include the following types:
Pigment dyes: This type of dye includes acrylic markers and watercolor markers. Acrylic markers have stable pigment properties and are not easily faded, but their color transparency is often inferior to that of alcohol based markers. Watercolor markers have bright and transparent colors, but after multiple color overlays, they will turn gray and easily damage the paper surface.
Solvent dyes: This type of dye includes alcohol based markers and oil-based markers. The main components of alcoholic markers are dye, denatured alcohol, and resin. Ink is volatile and should be used in well ventilated areas. Oil based markers have fast drying, water resistance, and good light resistance. They can be stacked multiple times without damaging the paper and are soft.
Water soluble dyes: These dyes are water-soluble and suitable for use in various aqueous media, such as paper, fabric, etc. Its characteristic is bright colors.
