There are mainly several types of denim dyes:

1.Indigo blue dye: This is the most traditional denim fabric dye, including natural indigo blue and synthetic indigo blue. Natural indigo blue dyes are extracted from plants such as indigo grass and have a history of over 3000 years. However, their resources are limited and their yield is low, making them unsuitable for large-scale dyeing. Synthetic indigo blue are more popular.

2. Sulphur dye: This is the most commonly used dyeing method for denim fabrics, which can be dyed separately with sulphur dye, or can be co dyed with indigo blue, or different sulphur black dyes can be co dyed, like sulphur blue brn, sulphur yellow gc, sulphur dark green and sulphur red 14.

3. Reactive dyes: mainly used for dyeing colored denim fabrics, such as bright red, peach red, pink, etc.
