In papermaking work, in order to obtain the specific color of the paper, pulp dyes are usually added to the pulp or paint to selectively absorb part of the color, and the light that is not absorbed but reflected is the desired color.
Common types of dyes in the paper industry:
● Acid dyestuffs
Poor covering effect, strong light fastness, good water solubility, poor fiber affinity, mostly dyed in acid system, commonly used AL ion or fixing agent to help color, poor water fastness felts are easy to be dyed;
It is often used for dyeing of thick pulp in acid system (but with obvious color difference on both sides of finished paper) or surface coloring;
● Basic dyes
Cheap price, poor color fastness and light fastness, strong coloring ability, bright color, strong affinity for lignin, poor water solubility, and cationic water-soluble solution. It is often suitable for the dyeing of natural pulp and mechanical pulp;
● Direct dyes
Convenient dyeing, complete chromatogram, low price, strong color fastness, poor color strength, dark color, strong affinity for cellulose (removal of lignin), poor water solubility but strong heat fastness.
Our factory is manufacturing basic paper dyes, acid paper dyes, direct paper dyes and liquid paper dyes. With different performance, they are used for different kinds of papers. If you are looking for paper dyes, welcome contact with us.
