Vat Brilliant Green FFB C.I. Vat Green 1 is a kind of dark green powder or particle. It’s an organic compounds used as reducing dyes. It is a derivative of benzyl alcohol. Insoluble in water, ethanol, chloroform, toluene, slightly soluble in acetone, o-chlorophenol, nitro benzene, pyridine (hot), soluble in tetrahydronaphthalene (warm). It appears red purple in concentrated sulfuric acid and produces a green precipitate after dilution. It appears blue in alkaline solution of insurance powder and bright red in acidic solution.

Vat Green 1, also known as Brilliant Green FFB, is one of the representative products of green reduction dyes. It is used for dyeing and printing cotton fabrics, as well as for dyeing polyester/cotton and plastic. Vat bright green FFB is mostly used for for cotton fiber dyeing and cotton fabric printing, with good uniformity and high affinity. It can be used alone in bright green, but is more commonly used for color matching. It can also be used for coloring plastics, soap, and paper.
