Vat Brown 1 is a dark brown powder. Insoluble in water and xylene (cold), slightly soluble in tetrahydronaphthalene (hot) and xylene (hot). It appears green gray in concentrated sulfuric acid and produces a brown precipitate after dilution. It appears yellow light brown in alkaline solution of insurance powder and dark olive color in acidic solution.

Vat Brown 1 application

Vat brown 1 is mainly used for dyeing cotton fibers, with good uniformity and affinity. It is also used for dyeing viscose fibers, silk, viscose, and viscose. Polyester cotton blended fabrics can also be dyed using the same bath hot melt method with dispersed dyes, as polyester is less prone to staining. Vat brown BR can also be used to blend coffee color with vat gray BG, brown GG, and khaki GG, and is a commonly used brown variety.
