Vat Orange 1 Chemical Property

Vat Orange 1 Dye is yellow brown powder and soluble in nitrobenzene, xylene, and tetrahydronaphthalene, slightly soluble in ethanol, acetone, benzene, pyridine, toluene, and o-chlorophenol. It appears blue purple in concentrated nitric acid and orange when diluted. It appears as a jujube red color in the alkaline sodium hydroxide reducing solution.
